Muthoot Group's special film on Women's Day highlights the hard work and responsibilities of women

On the occasion of Women's Day, The Muthoot Group released an emotional film paying tribute to the women who quietly manage our everyday lives. 

Through this film, the company highlights the vital role women play in managing both family and work. The film depicts how women tirelessly juggle responsibilities like home, childcare, and employment, ensuring that life continues as normal.

Role reversal shown in the story

The film's story is based on an interesting idea. It explores what would happen if a man suddenly had to shoulder all the responsibilities of a household. 

In the story, a man wakes up first thing in the morning, cooks, gets the children ready for school, irons clothes, takes care of the house, and then goes to work. Throughout the day, he tries to balance all these tasks.

I was tired in a day

In the evening, as he prepares to relax after dinner with his family, he's reminded that he still has his children's school projects, office work, and numerous other responsibilities to attend to. 

The pressure of all this overwhelms him, and he suddenly awakens. It's then that he realizes it was all just a dream.

Then we understand the hard work of women.

After waking from his dream, he realizes that the very tasks he finds incredibly difficult in a single day are the same tasks the woman in his life does every day, without complaint and often without praise.

Salute to the hard work of women

Speaking on the initiative, the company's Joint Managing Director, Alexander George Muthoot, said that the film honors the hard work, emotional strength, and dedication of women, which often goes unseen. 

According to the company, its organization employs over 11,500 women, representing approximately 22% of the total workforce. Of these, over 1,175 women hold branch heads and many other key leadership roles.
