According to a news agency report, the new policy prohibits children from creating accounts on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X, and Roblox. 

The government has classified these platforms as high-risk, where children are at greater risk of contact with inappropriate people, exploitation, and exposure to harmful content. 

This decision was made with the approximately 70 million children, who constitute a significant portion of the country's population, in mind.

The government has clarified that this rule will be implemented gradually, as it is not easy to get all digital platforms to comply. 

Platforms will not only have to comply with the rules, but also identify and disable accounts of users under the age of 16. Officials believe this is a difficult task, but a necessary step to protect children.
